As a senior member of the firm’s business operations team, Mrs. Benavides’ responsibilities include overseeing the firm’s financial operations, monitoring financial performance, managing the firm’s financial and timekeeping system, and implementing strategies to optimize profitability. She also oversees critical business functions such as payroll, accounts receivable and payable, and general ledger accounting.

In addition to her financial acumen, Mrs. Benavides excels in building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. She collaborates closely with partners, attorneys, and support staff, aligning financial objectives with the firm’s strategic goals. She also maintains relationships with external vendors, banks, and financial institutions, facilitating financial partnerships that benefit the firm.

Mrs. Benavides earned her bachelor’s degree in accounting from George Mason University. During her studies, she worked full-time in the medical industry, supporting the finance and insurance departments. It was during this time that she discovered her passion for finance and developed a deep appreciation for the field.

Born in the Dominican Republic and raised in New York City, Mrs. Benavides is fluent in Spanish and takes pride in her cultural heritage. Stephanie is a proud mother of two daughters and a supportive Marine spouse. She cherishes spending quality time with her family and embraces the opportunity to travel and explore new places.
