Karen Shlevin Fink is a Senior Paralegal in Fluet’s Corporate + Transactional Practice, where she supports complex corporate transactions, financing matters, and regulatory compliance.

Ms. Fink brings extensive experience managing all phases of corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, asset purchases, corporate restructurings, and equity and debt financings. Her work encompasses drafting legal documents, coordinating closings, conducting due diligence reviews, and managing closing documentation and databases. She has substantial experience forming, maintaining, and dissolving business entities, preparing corporate resolutions and officer’s certificates, and handling regulatory filings including UCC, SEC, and BlueSky filings.

She has worked with federal and state agencies, coordinated Federal Reserve Board examinations, and managed compliance issues related to Basel requirements and other regulatory frameworks. Her background also includes trademark and copyright application preparation and filing, contract review and negotiation, and bankruptcy research and case management.

Prior to joining Fluet, Ms. Fink held paralegal positions at several prominent law firms and also served as a Business Analyst/Officer in Enterprise Risk Management at State Street Corporation, where she coordinated regulatory examinations and assisted with compliance matters. Ms. Fink’s diverse experience includes work in telecommunications, entertainment/media, and medical social work, as well as supervision of paralegals and workflow management.

In her free time, you can find her practicing her golf swing, reading, cooking, listening to music and spending time with family and friends.
