Cora Pototsky is the Director of Practice Operations at Fluet, where she leads the firm’s operational strategy and ensures the seamless delivery of legal and administrative support across all practice groups.
Ms. Pototsky’s career began at the Arlington Circuit Court Clerk’s Office, where she completed an internship before becoming full-time court personnel. During her tenure, she successfully implemented procedures and managed cases, significantly increasing efficiency and productivity as caseloads saw record exponential growth.
At Fluet, Ms. Pototsky oversees firm-wide workflow systems to ensure balanced workloads, timely work product, and effective utilization of staff. She develops and implements standardized procedures, knowledge-sharing systems, and operational best practices that strengthen the firm’s overall performance. She also supports office-wide communication by helping translate strategic decisions into clear, consistent guidance for staff and attorneys. Her responsibilities include coordinating staffing across practice groups, maintaining consistent workflow systems, and overseeing the firm’s standard operating procedures. She leads training, onboarding, and professional development for legal support staff, and provides high-level paralegal oversight when complex or time-sensitive matters arise. Ms. Pototsky also plays a key role in the firm’s culture and knowledge management efforts. She supports healthy, transparent communication and maintains the firm’s shared knowledge hubs, ensuring teams remain coordinated, informed, and equipped. She manages systems for historical records and briefs, supporting both business development efforts and required compliance measures.
She attended Christopher Newport University, where she earned Bachelor’s Degrees in Political Science and History in an expedited fashion (within 3 years) in 2019, and George Mason University where she obtained a Masters in History in 2023. Outside of her professional life, Ms. Pototsky is a proud Northern Virginia native with deep roots in the area. She is committed to community service by volunteering at a local food pantry, pursues her passion for music by playing the flute in a local orchestra, and enjoys watching baseball as an avid Washington Nationals fan.
