Fluet is pleased to support the “Soldier Sailor Skirmish” Hockey Game on Saturday, April 20, 2024 at the St. James in Springfield, Virginia. The charity event pits soldiers against sailors in a friendly but competitive hockey match, with all proceeds benefiting two outstanding veteran organizations, Vigilant Torch and the Warrior for Life Fund.
About the Benefiting Organizations
Founded in 2009, Vigilant Torch is a volunteer organization with the mission to give back to select Special Operations community members by providing mental health support, community building, and financial support. What began as a modest organization has grown into a robust nonprofit with an ever-growing corps of members and effective programs that are impacting lives.
The Warrior For Life Fund (WFLF) focuses support to active duty, veterans, and their families through sport and community as they navigate the unique challenges of combat deployments and life after service. Utilizing an evidence based and informed approach, WFLF creates an enduring environment of fellowship, fitness, and mental/cognitive health improvement that has lasting impact to our members.
As a firm founded and led by veterans, Fluet is always honored to support initiatives that give back to those who serve our nation. The “Soldier Sailor Skirmish” allows attorneys and staff to come together and support the mission of improving the lives of military members and their families.
