Fluet is pleased to announce the addition of four accomplished professionals to the firm, continuing strategic growth across key practices, including Government Contracts and International Trade.

The new team members—Counsel Isaac Natter, Counsel David Newsome, Jr., Senior Policy Advisor Greg Gatjanis, and Associate Marlee Egierski—bring decades of combined government and military service, including roles at the Department of Defense, Department of the Treasury, Department of Commerce, Central Intelligence Agency, and the White House National Security Council.

“These additions reflect Fluet’s commitment to providing clients with elite, mission-focused representation grounded in real-world government experience,” says Tom Craig, Managing Partner. “Isaac, David, Marlee, and Greg each bring invaluable perspectives from their service to our nation—whether leading acquisition law at the Pentagon, managing complex contracts in operational theaters, defending agencies in bid protests, or shaping sanctions policy at the highest levels. Their arrival strengthens our ability to guide clients through the increasingly complex intersection of government contracting, national security, and international trade.”

Isaac Natter, Counsel, Government Contracts

Isaac Natter joins Fluet after serving as Acting Deputy General Counsel (Acquisition & Logistics) at the Department of Defense, where he was the senior-most government acquisition attorney in the DoD Office of General Counsel. His practice encompasses the full spectrum of government contracting matters, including FAR/DFARS compliance, bid protests, contract disputes, defense industrial base issues, and CFIUS reviews.

David Newsome, Jr., Counsel, Government Contracts

David Newsome brings over fifteen years of senior in-house experience with two of the largest global government services contractors, most recently serving as acting VP and Deputy General Counsel at V2X. A veteran of the U.S. Army Judge Advocate General’s Corps with more than twenty years of service, he has managed high-stakes disputes, major claims, and complex Base Operations Support contracts across multiple continents.

Greg Gatjanis, Senior Policy Advisor, International Trade

Greg Gatjanis brings nearly four decades of distinguished service in U.S. and international security to the firm’s International Trade Practice. He served more than 12 years as Associate Director at the Treasury Department’s Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), where he led the Office of Global Targeting, and nearly seven years on the White House National Security Council staff under Presidents George W. Bush and Barack Obama.
