A district court in Maryland agreed with arguments from Fluet attorneys Tom Craig and Jessie Rabinowitz regarding our client’s claims of breach of contract, fraud, and conspiracy, ruling in their favor and allowing the case to proceed on all counts.
The client alleges that the defendants lied in an attempt to receive payment from the client for parts that they never intended on providing. The client asserts that the defendants’ actions amount to fraud and a conspiracy to defraud, in addition to a breach of contract.
While the defendants attempted to argue that the facts amounted to just a simple breach of contract case, the court agreed with Fluet attorneys that the complaint set forth claims of fraud and conspiracy, as well.
Fluet expects that discovery will only further develop the facts needed to supplement and succeed on our client’s claims.
