A Little History on Marine Corps Birthday Celebrations

Worldwide, wherever there are two or more Marines gathered in one place, they celebrate the Marine Corps Birthday. The Marine Corps was born on November 10, 1775 when the Second Continental Congress resolved to raise two battalions of Marines. Every year since 1925 Marines have celebrated this day.

Fluet has held this time-honored celebration for years now, but this year, we are excited to extend this invitation to Marine Corps veterans, veterans of other military services and any interested observers to join us!
