Matthew Doe is a Senior Paralegal in Fluet’s Litigation + Investigations Practice, bringing over 20 years of experience supporting complex commercial litigation, white-collar defense, and regulatory matters.

Mr. Doe brings extensive experience managing all phases of litigation support, including preparing, cite-checking, and filing pleadings, motions, briefs, and other litigation documents in state and federal courts. His work encompasses managing discovery materials, conducting privilege and substantive document review, coordinating document production with e-discovery platforms, and preparing document and deposition transcript summaries. He has substantial experience preparing exhibits and witness binders for depositions and trial, drafting tables of authorities and contents for litigation filings, and conducting directed legal research using Westlaw and PACER.

He has worked with federal and state agencies on regulatory compliance and licensing matters across multiple jurisdictions, including fair housing, iGaming, sports wagering, and liquor licensing. His background also includes courtroom technology support, utilizing various software packages to assist with the display of demonstrative and evidentiary exhibits and witness testimony. Mr. Doe has trial experience and has supported cases through arbitration and mediation, including work on a large MDL case involving the production of millions of documents.

Prior to joining Fluet, Mr. Doe held paralegal positions at several prominent law firms, including serving as Director of Operations and Litigation/Licensing Paralegal at Ifrah PLLC, Paralegal at Reno & Cavanaugh PLLC supporting the Litigation/Dispute Resolution Group, and Paralegal at Plave Koch PLC. His diverse experience includes work in import/export control and compliance, technology transfer, and franchise transactional matters. He also served as Senior Paralegal at Patton Boggs LLP (now Squire Patton Boggs), where he supervised and trained entry-level and mid-level paralegals and temporary staff.

In his free time, you can find him attending D.C.-area sports games (especially Capitals, Commanders, Nationals, Wizards, and DC Defenders) and spending quality time with his wife and their two cats, Boogie and Rain.
