Sean and Jenny met at an Fluet event on June 3, 2015, and were married on April 29, 2018.According to a framed poster in our Fluet office, “All you need is love, and a good attorney.” A recently married couple found both at one of our law firm’s events two years ago.

Sean Naylor, a national security reporter and friend of Fluet, met his future wife in the spring of 2015 at The Palm in Tysons, where Fluet was hosting an Open House Cocktail Party to celebrate the opening of our firm’s then-new office in McLean.

Jenny Naylor (formerly Jenny Lin), an attorney for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, was invited to the reception by Fluet Senior Counsel Dean Popps. As fate would have it, Jenny and Sean got to talking and immediately felt a spark between them.

“I just remember being struck by Jenny’s intelligence, poise, and, of course, beauty,” Sean recalled.

Sean and Jenny started dating within a week of that reception, and they got engaged in December 2016. From their meeting to now, their romance was full of beautiful moments.

“[The engagement happened] on top of a windswept hillside in West Cork, Ireland, looking out over the Atlantic Ocean,” Sean said.

Sean and Jenny were married April 29, 2018, at the Carnegie Institution for Science in Washington, DC, almost three years after their initial meeting at the happy hour.

Fluet sends best wishes to the newlyweds!
