Alanna Schetty is an Associate supporting the firm’s International Trade Practice, touting unique perspectives in regulatory compliance and government oversight of strategic industries.

Ms. Schetty brings a strong background in highly regulated industries, having previously advised natural gas and oil stakeholders on federal regulatory compliance, policy developments, and market impacts. Her work included analyzing federal appellate decisions on environmental reviews and briefing senior officials at the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission on emerging litigation trends­– experience that informs her understanding of how regulatory considerations affect global business operations.

She also has experience advising clients on matters at the intersection of workplace safety, environmental compliance, and security regulations, including supporting World Trade Center workers affected by environmental toxin exposure.

At The George Washington University Law School, Ms. Schetty distinguished herself as Senior Articles Editor for the Journal of Energy and Environmental Law and served as a Research Assistant to the Dean of Environmental Law, researching corporate environmental practices. This work provided her with insight into how regulatory compliance and corporate governance converge, further shaping her understanding of international trade and cross-border regulatory issues.

In her free time, Ms. Schetty enjoys community service, traveling, reading, and sharing her love of cooking with friends and family.
